Unfortunately, I cannot tell you what an amazing trip the Annapurna Base Camp trek was, as I never completed it. But I can tell you how amazing my guide, Arun, was, and how safe he and the agency made me feel after twisting and spraining my ankle. My travel agent, Gopal, was in constant contact with me and was quick to organize my rescue and getting me to a doctor. My guide treated me, took care of me, followed me to the hospital and didn't let go of my, until I was discharged. Also, the agency quickly helped my arrange activities afterwards, that I could do without walking (jeep safari and canoeing in Chitwan), and both of them kept following up on my health long after.
About the few days I did the trek, I can say, that the landscape with the surrounding mountain peaks is amazing, and the sunrise at Poon Hill was quite magical. There are A LOT of steps on this trail, though, but you should just take your time getting to the teahouses and enjoy the surroundings.
I do recommend Beat Trekking and will definitely use them again, when I come back to Nepal to complete another trek.
