Tsum Valley Manslu Circuit Trek

Day one is your arrival day in Kathmandu and transfer you to the hotel. Upon reaching the hotel and checking in to the rooms, we will let you know about our trip briefing meeting.

It is an important meeting so, we will wait until everyone arrives if there are people flying in different flights for the trip on the same date. Anyway, you will get the information about the meeting time.

It is an acclimatization day as well as an exploration day in Kathmandu. You will also have the time to do last minute preparation on this day if you need to.

After you take your breakfast, we will take you for a beautiful sightseeing tour of the cultural heritage sites in Kathmandu. The sites include ancient Buddhist stupas, Hindu temple, and medieval royal palace square. You will explore about the Kathmandu valley civilization since the ancient time. This day tour will give you a better understanding of life in Kathmandu in the past and at present.

We leave Kathmandu today for a long drive to go to Soti Khola. Soti Khola is the place to start the trek in the Manaslu region. The drive goes along a highway through beautiful surroundings. We drive past small towns along the highway and see many villages in the surroundings. The drive today will give us the experience of how the rural Nepal looks like.

We eventually reach Soti Khola to stay overnight and prepare for the trek to start tomorrow.The drive today takes around 8-9 hours.

The time to start the trek has finally arrived. We are ready to embark of the first day of the trek. The walk for the day is an easy one to Machha Khola. We trek along the Budhi Gandaki River valley and enjoy natural surroundings along the trail. Machha Khola is a small town in the region that serves as the overnight stop for trekkers in the region. We will have time to explore the place once we reach the place and check into a guest house.The journey today takes approximately six hours.

The walk today takes us to Jagat. We start the trek for the day after breakfast and traverse the trail along the river valley. Our walk goes past Khorlabesi, Tatopani and many other beautiful places. We reach Jagat village below a hanging cliff after a walk of about six hours through the river valley. There will be plenty of time for us to explore the village once we reach Jagat to stay overnight.

The trek continues along the Budhi Gandaki river valley today after breakfast. Our destination for the day today is the beautiful village of Philim. The trail will bring us wonderful view of the surroundings and mountains like Sringi Himal. In addition to the view of mountains and nature, we will also walk past beautiful villages along the route. We walk past the villages like Salleri and Sirdibas as we traverse the trail up and down through the mountains.

We eventually reach Philim to stay overnight.The journey today takes approximately six hours.

Our walk today takes us to Chumling in the Tsum valley. The trek continues towards Ekle Bhatti on a gentle trail. From Ekle Bhatti, the trail splits into two – one leading us to the Tsum valley and the other towards Manaslu Circuit Trek. We definitely take the one towards Tsum valley and walk further to Chumling to stay overnight today.The journey today takes approximately seven hours.

Chhokangparo is the destination of our walk for the day. We will enjoy the view of the beautiful mountains from the trail to Chokhangparo. Wonderful views of Ganesh Himal, Himalchuli and other spectacular mountains appear on our way today. We also trek past beautiful rivers, villages and wonderful places to admire the beauty of. Eventually, we reach the destination to stay overnight.The journey today takes approximately six hours.

We continue the trek in the Tsum valley and head to Nile village on the walk today. The influence of Buddhism is clearly seen as we walk along the trail. Chhortens and prayer flags become more common now. Walking past Lar, Phurbe, Pangdun, we eventually reach Nile. We will have enough time to go for an exploration of the surroundings and a monastery.The journey today takes five hours.

Amazing Mu Gompa is the destination of our walk today. This beautiful place near Nepal Tibet border offers a wonderful cultural and spiritual experience. As we trek to the destination, we can enjoy spectacular views of the mountains. It is a short walk of the day of about three hours to reach Mu Gompa. Once we reach there, we can go to visit a monastery called Dhepu Doma monastery.The journey today takes approximately four hours.

We will take a full day today to explore the surroundings of Mu Gompa. It will be an amazing day spent exploiting and enjoy the beautiful Mu Gompa and its surrounding wonders. We will enjoy the cultural, spiritual and natural wonders that this place has to offer us.

We will trek to Burgi village today after an incredible exploration of Mu Gompa. The trail back takes us to the destination in about five hours. We walk past several villages and eventually reach the village. Burgi village has an ancient cave where the famous Tibetan saint Milarepa is believed to have meditated. We will go to explore the cave and the wonderful surroundings.

Now that we have explored the wonderful Tsum Valley charm, we are already on our way back. We will trek to Chumling to stay overnight.The journey today takes approximately six hours.

We will start the trek on the Manaslu Circuit Trail from today onwards. The trek takes us to Bihi village today. It will be a trek of about six hours to the destination. The walk goes past Ekle Bhatti and trek further towards Bihi. We will also walk past Kyak and Deng villages along the trail before reaching the destination to stay overnight. Once we reach and check into a teahouse, we will explore the place around and enjoy the surroundings.

As Bihi village offers a stunning view of the mountains, we wake up for an incredible morning in front of the mountains. The trek today takes us to Namrung village. We set off for the adventure for the day and traverse the trail past beautiful surroundings of the mountains and nature. We will find beautiful prayer flags and chhortens along the trail. The region now onwards practices Buddhism and we can experience the same during our adventure in the region.

We reach the beautiful Namrung village to stay overnight with enough time to explore around once we reach there.The journey today takes around six hours.

We will walk to the destination above 3,000 meters from the sea level. Beautiful Lho Gaun is the destination of our walk for the day. We can enjoy wonderful view of Naike peak and Sinmang Himal as we trek through beautiful surroundings. The trek also takes us past Lihi and Shyo villages before reaching Lho village. We will have a great cultural experience of the region on the trek today. Exploring and staying overnight Lho village is another incredible experience of the trek.The journey today takes approximately five hours.

We continue the trek in the Manaslu area. The walk today takes us to a beautiful village of Samagaun. We trek through remote and secluded region in the Nubri valley. We traverse the trail winding up and down the mountains and goes through incredible surroundings. Our adventure for the day brings us beautiful view of the mountains along the trail. Samagaun is a wonderful village that offers a timeless cultural experience of the region.The journey today takes approximately five hours.

We take an acclimatization break at Samagaun today. It is a necessary break to prepare to walk further into the higher elevation. We will go for a hiking trip around to explore the surroundings and adjust with the climate. The day will bring us some incredible wonders of the mountains.

We will continue the trek to Samdo today after a full day of acclimatization break. The trek today brings incredible view of the mountains from along the rail. We enter deeper and higher into the increasing wilderness of the mountain on the trek today. The beauty of Samdo village is simply stunning with an incredible surrounding of the mountains. Staying overnight here is a wonderful experience.The journey today takes approximately five hours.

The trek for the day today takes us to Larke Phedi just below the Larkya La. It is a short trekking day yet a beautiful experience through the wild surroundings of the mountains. After we reach Larke Phedi, we will explore around and take rest to prepare for the adventure walk over the pass tomorrow. We will exploit the charm of the beautiful surrounding of the place and enjoy the moment at the camp.The journey today takes approximately three hours.

Our walk for the day starts towards the pass early in the morning. We start traversing uphill trail and it is certainly a challenging walk at this elevation. But once we reach the pass, we will be dumbfounded by the view that the top brings to us. Standing at the elevation of 5,160 meters above sea level at Larkya La, we enjoy the panoramic view of the mountains. We can enjoy the view of Annapurna II, Namjung himal, Pang Phuchi, Himlung himal and many other mountains in the region.The journey today takes approximately nine hours.

We have trekked through the Manaslu region and over the Larkya Pass. Now, we are trekking our way towards the Annapurna Circuit Trail. Our walk for the day today takes us to Tilije village to stay overnight. It is a beautiful and easy day of walk after such an adventurous day of crossing the pass yesterday.The journey today takes approximately six hours.

It is the final day of the trek today and we will trek to Jagat village in the Annapurna Circuit Trail. It is another day of easy walk along the Apple Pie trail. It is a beautiful nature walk that takes us to Jagat for overnight stay and to end the trekking part of the journey.The journey today takes approximately six hours.

We have a long drive back to Kathmandu. We take a four wheel jeep drive to Besi Sahar and then onwards to Kathmandu by Bus. It is a long drive along the highway. We reach Kathmandu at late afternoon and check into hotel and spend a relaxing time.The drive today takes approximately ten hours.
