Booking of the Trip
To book and confirm any trip with us, you have to deposit 30% of the total trip cost. Once you are ready to deposit the amount, we will forward our bank account number to you. As soon as we receive your advance deposit, we will send you the trip confirmation note with other essential information about the trip.
The balance can be paid upon your arrival in Kathmandu.
Mode of Payment
We accept the payment via card or cash. However Travellers’ cheque cannot be accepted so we do not recommend you to bring TC. You can pay the balance in convertible currency preferably USD or you can also pay with card but an applicable surcharge will be added to your balance at the time of payment.
BEAT Trekking reserves all the rights to cancel any trip without a prior consent from the client if the company deems it to be necessary. In that case, the company will send you the information of trip cancellation with valid reason. You can transfer your deposited amount to another date for the same trip or to a different trip. But, in case you don’t want to transfer the amount to another date or trip, we will figure out the way to refund your amount. As Nepal Government doesn’t allow international money transfer to other countries, it may take a little while for the refund amount to reach your account. The company doesn’t take any responsibility of any cost that may have incurred to you in preparation for the trip.
But if you cancel the trip, no refund will be made. However, you can transfer the amount to another date or trip if you cancel it 45 days prior to the departure date.
All our trips run on the basis of the itinerary included. However, sometimes, we may need to change the itinerary even when the trip is going on. In that case, it is on the sole discretion of the guide leading the trip if he deems it necessary. Your guide reserves all the rights to bring change in itinerary if necessary for the safety of travellers and the crew members.
All our trips have a section that clearly mentions about what the cost you pay covers and what it doesn’t. Please read the “Includes and Excludes” section carefully before booking any trip. All the expenses incurred to you on the activities other than mentioned in the itinerary will be your responsibility.
While booking a trip with us, you fully acknowledge that you are going on an adventurous trip that involves personal risk. You are well aware that you are travelling to the new political, cultural and geographical situations which are completely different than your home country. Confirming a trip with us means you are aware of the risk involved and accept that you are travelling on your own risk.
You must have a travel insurance to travel with us. Your travel insurance should cover your personal accident, death, emergency evacuation, medical expenses, loss of luggage, and repatriation charge.
You must provide us with your insurance policy number, emergency contact number of your insurer and other insurance details on the day of your arrival. It is a mandatory provision to participate in any of our tours and treks.
We will collect your contact details at the time of your booking which, you fully acknowledge, we will use in contacting you and sending you information related to the trip. You also acknowledge that we can use your email address to send you our special discount offers and other promotional materials in future. However, all the information you provide to us will not be disclosed to any third party except our affiliated service providers like airlines, hotels and government authorities at the time of your trip operation.
