Day one is your arrival day in Kathmandu. We will come to welcome you at the airport in Kathmandu and transfer you to the hotel. Upon reaching the hotel and checking in to the rooms, we will let you know about our trip briefing meeting.

It is an important meeting so, we will wait until everyone arrives if there are people flying in different flights for the trip on the same date. Anyway, you will get the information about the meeting time.

Before heading to the mountains, you have a full day in Kathmandu to acclimatize for the higher elevation of the mountains. While in Kathmandu, you will be at the elevation of 1,350 meters above sea level. We are taking you for a full day exploration of the Kathmandu valley. Kathmandu valley is a rich place in cultural heritage wonders and we are going to show you around some of them. You will visit four of the heritage sites today - Swoyambhunath, Patan Durbar Square, Pashupatinath and Boudhanath. These sites are of historical, cultural and spiritual importance that will project the general overview of Kathmandu valley.

Enjoy the day with our expert city tour guide who will be accompanying and showing you around the sites. Learn about these places from our local insider guide.

This will be the first day in the mountains. Entering into the Everest region and getting into the mountain atmosphere is getting us excited. We drive to the airport for early morning flight to Lukla airstrip. This spectacular, small plane flight takes us to the beautiful Everest region that we will be enjoying for the next few days.

After getting into Lukla and meeting our whole trekking crew, our trekking adventure for the day begins. We embark on the first day of trekking towards Phakding that beautifully lies on the Dudh Koshi River bank. The trail will bring us to several incredible Buddhist prayer walls and prayer wheels along with beautiful view and landscape. The walk for the day will be of about four hours. After checking into the guest house, we can take some time out to explore the surroundings and enjoy the sounds of water in the river.

Famous village Namche, also known as Namche Bazar, is our overnight place for today. We embark on the trek towards the destination after breakfast. The walk today involves crossing and re-crossing of River Dudh Koshi several times along the trail. Our walk goes past Jorsalle and Monjo where we can stop for lunch break. We enter Sagarmatha National Park from Monjo onwards and the walk becomes more difficult as the steep ascent to Namche begins here.

The trail, despite its difficulty, brings several wonderful places and views. Crossing of suspension bridges over the river is truly exciting and walking through forested part is a peaceful walking adventure. We eventually emerge at Namche Bazar and the whole village is seen perched on the beautiful mountain slope. This Sherpa capital is also the last place on the trek where you can use your ATM; buy trekking gear you want and enjoy a little bit of happening. The journey today takes approximately six hours.

Namche Bazar is our first acclimatization stop in the mountains before we go further higher on our trek. Acclimatization is really important at the higher elevation of the mountains so we are taking a day here at Namche for the same.

We will go for a hiking exploration of the surroundings that will help us adjust with the elevation and also enjoy magnificent views of the mountains. We hike up to the Everest view point from where we can see the first ever glace of Mt. Everest if the weather is clear. Later, we descend back down to Namche bazar and go for an exploration of the place. We enjoy walking the Namche bazar streets; talking to people and enjoying the whole lot of things going on at this beautiful mountain town.

Mountain wonders keep on unveiling their captivating charisma to us every day. As we trek higher, mountains get closer and look more magnanimous. On our trek to Tengboche today, we are going to experience some incredible nature walk before emerging to Tengboche. The trail goes fairly up the hill before it descends to a river and steeply head up towards Tengboche. The steep walking up to Tengboche gets rewarded with breathtaking view of mountain peaks as we emerge to the place.

Tengboche has an important Buddhist monastery that holds high faith and respect for the Buddhist people living in the region. This monastery is the cultural and spiritual center of the Sherpa people. Wonderful views of mountains including Mt. Amadablam welcome us to Tengboche village. We wander around the place and monastery to explore and enjoy the wonders. The journey today takes approximately five hours.

After spending beautiful time and overnight at Tengboche, we are trekking further higher up towards Dingboche today. As we gain elevation, things start getting different. From vegetation to landscape, we can feel the difference now as we trek up towards Dingboche. The villages of Diboche and Pangboche come along the trail. We can explore a bit of Pangboche village as we stop for the lunch there.

After the lunch, we take the trail towards Dingboche and traverse the trail up the hill. Dingboche is a beautiful village in the region and another acclimatization stopover place. The journey today takes approximately six hours.

Our second acclimatization day in the Everest base camp trekking adventure is due today. We are taking an extra day stopover at Dingboche today so that we can explore around and sleep here to help our body adjust with the climate and prepare to go higher.

We go for a hiking exploration to a higher elevation. The hiking trip brings us breathtaking view of the Himalayan peaks. We can hike to any of these places – Amadablam base camp or Nagarjun Hill or Chhukung. All these places give us ample time to acclimatize and at the same time wonderful hiking experience that bring awesome views.

Our Everest base camp trekking adventure enters the region above 4,500 meters from sea level on the trek today. While we trek to Lobuche as our overnight destination, we traverse boulder strewn and glacial moraine filled trail. Landscape changes drastically and walking speed gets slower as the effect of high elevation.

The trail takes you to Lobuche via Thukla where we can see chhortens – the small memorial monuments. The trail feels tough although it looks pretty easy. High elevation and moraine and boulders make the trail challenging to traverse. On a slow and steady pace, we eventually reach Lobuche to settle in a guest house. The journey today takes approximately five hours.

It is the most important and highlight day of the trip as we are going to trek all the way to Everest base camp. After starting from Lobuche, we head towards Gorakhsep that is our sleeping place for tonight. We reach Gorakshep that is perched amidst the mountains just below Kalapatthar. We check into guesthouse and wait for the lunch.

Later, after lunch, we get ready to hike to Everest base camp. We again follow the moraine filled trail with boulders on a gradual slope up towards the base of the world’s highest mountain. We will soon find ourselves standing at the foot of Mt. Everest at the elevation of 5,364 meters above sea level. We will be mesmerized by the view and the feeling of being at the Everest base camp. We make the most out of our moment in the base camp to carry back good memories. After the awesome time at the base camp, we return back to Gorak Shep to stay overnight. The journey today takes approximately eight hours.

It is another appealing day of the trek. We start hiking early in the morning to witness stunning sunrise views from Kala Pathar (5545m). The reflection of sunlight on the top of the world’s highest peak is worth watching from the best viewpoint. The magnificence of the Himalayan mountain range will be one of the best experiences of your lifetime. After capturing the Everest view, we will walk back to Gorakshep. Once we have our breakfast, we will experience a comfy helicopter ride to return to Kathmandu. You can capture picturesque aerial views while soaring above the stunning landscapes additionally the enormous Himalayan range.

Once we land in Kathmandu, you get transferred to the hotel, where you can have a refreshment gap there. Later, you can go souvenir shopping and explore the local market in Kathmandu. A farewell dinner program will be organized in the evening to celebrate the successful completion of the journey.
