Day

You arrive to Kathmandu today. You will be welcomed at the airport by BEAT representative and then transferred to hotel. Try to manage your arrival time by the afternoon so that we can meet for an important trip briefing session in the evening. We will leave you with information about the trip briefing timing upon your arrival.

Early morning we depart from the hotel toward the airport to take the flight to Pokhara, a beautiful touristic destination regarded as the city of lakes. The flight will take about 30 minutes to land at Pokhara airport. On reaching there we start our trip to Annapurna in a private car and reach Syauli Bazzar. The highway drive takes us past different villages that give a first-hand glimpse of how rural Nepal looks like. The scenic drive from Pokhara to Syauli Bazzar will take us around 2 hours. Then from there, we start our trekking and head toward Ghandruk, a cultural Gurung village on a hillside that offers the mirroring views of Machhapuchre and Annapurna.  Once we check into a Lodge, we will have some time to go around the village and also for a peaceful walk on the stone paved trails.

After having our breakfast at Ghandruk, we shall embark on a trail heading towards Chhomrong, which serves as the gateway to the Annapurna Sanctuary. The trail ahead will traverse through bamboo and rhododendron forests and across suspension bridges spanning the Modi Khola River. Upon arrival at Chhomrong, a picturesque hamlet located on a hill slope, you will take a break for lunch. Subsequently, you will have the privilege of discovering the village and its environs. It is estimated that the journey from Ghandruk to Chhomrong will take around 6 hours.

Departing from Chhomrong, we shall embark upon an upward trek to Dobhan, traversing a steep path that meanders through forests and over trickling streams. Our route shall take us through the charming hamlets of Sinuwa and Bamboo, allowing us to pause and bask in the magnificence of the surrounding peaks. After a rigorous hike of approximately 5-6 hours, we shall arrive at Dobhan for a leisurely luncheon.

After a beautiful peaceful night at Dobhan, today we shall embark on a journey towards Deurali. The excursion today takes approximately 4 hours through verdant forests and past exuberant cascading waterfalls and magnificent vistas of the encircling mountains. On reaching Deurali, we now need just one day hiking to reach ABC.

Today is the day to reach the ultimate destination of this trip. Our trek for the day today takes us to amazing Annapurna Base Camp that stands at 4,130 meters above sea level. While the trail itself is a pleasurable walk, reaching the base camp will bring completely a different feeling of joy. We will find ourselves standing amidst high soaring Himalayan peaks and just looking at the mesmerizing view of the mountains. We spend our time at the base camp enjoying the view and charms of the surroundings.

We wake up for a fresh morning at this Himalayan sanctuary to be dazzled by the arresting beauty of mountains. We relish our breakfast with stupendous view just in front of us and later prepare to leave the base camp.

After reaching the final destination of this trip, we start return journey from today onwards. The trek today takes us back to Dovan for overnight stay.

Jhinu Danda is the destination for our walk today. We trek past Chhomrong village and down to Jhinu Danda where we can enjoy a refreshing natural hot spring bath on the bank of Modi Khola. Hot spring bath will soothe the ache of walking multiple days in the rugged mountain trails. We stay overnight at Jhinu Danda.

We traverse the last section of trekking part today. We trek to Nayapul following the Modi Khola valley along its bank. Trekking through the trail on the last day of trekking will make us feel a little sad as we are leaving those mighty mountains and peaceful atmosphere behind. But finishing a 10 days walking in the mountains will be a sort of relief to our feet. Once we reach Nayapul, we drive for another 1.5 hours to Pokhara where we spend a relaxing evening around the Lakeside.

We return back to Kathmandu today. We drive back through the same highway that we took earlier to go to Pokhara. We deserve an easy and relaxing time back in Kathmandu.
